At Little Creek Veterinary Clinic, many of our clients are women who served, or are serving, in the U.S. military. That’s why we want you to know about this special opportunity at our local community theatre.

To show appreciation to military women, past and present, the Little Theatre of Norfolk will have a Wall Of Honor in their greenroom during the run of “A Piece of My Heart.”

Recognize someone else or yourself by emailing marketing@ltnonline.org. Provide a photo, servicewoman’s name, and an “about” blurb.

The Wall of Honor is for any woman who served at any time.

Is serving in the military a proud tradition among the women in your family? Consider submitting them all — imagine several generations of your family sharing the Wall Of Honor!

Have a friend you’d like to celebrate? Wonderful! [Just make sure she’s okay with it, first.]

Deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2020.

The Little Theatre of Norfolk is staging the zany British comedy, “Noises Off” — and we’d love you to come experience the wacky world of theatre!

Called the funniest farce ever written, “Noises Off” presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearses a flop called “Nothing’s On” – only hours before the curtain goes up. Slamming doors, clattering tea sets, shattering windows, and slippery sardines all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play. Yet, the show must go on; despite the catastrophe being played out on stage and the vicious antics among the actors backstage.

Following the success of last season’s hit show, “The Women,” director Kathy Strouse returns to helm the madcap action of “Noises Off.” Will the actors be ready to take their places? Will everyone make it out alive? And why in the world are there so many plates of sardines?

During intermission, enter the raffle drawing to win one
of several prizes, including this British-themed gift box,
put together by the show’s producer — Jennifer Miele.

Take in a special summer show at The Little Theatre of Norfolk!

Barrymore Ad 5x8

Barrymore
by William Luce

July 10, 11, 17, 18

Friday/Saturday at 8:00 PM
William Armstrong stars in Christopher Plummer’s Tony Award-winning role of John Barrymore in the acclaimed Broadway production of this work by the master of one character biographies for the stage. Each act begins with a stunning entrance onto a stage that the 60 year old legendary actor has rented to prepare for a comeback performance of Richard III. Barrymore jokes with the audience, spars with an offstage prompter, reminisces about better times and does delicious imitations of his siblings Lionel and Ethel.

Barrymore is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
