UPDATE: This pet’s owner has been located.

This black and white dog was found in Virginia Beach at the intersection of Independence Blvd. and Virginia Beach Blvd. on Tuesday, January 9th.

She appears to be a Labrador mix and weighs approximately 37 lbs. She has no collar; no microchip ID was found during scanning.

The owner should be prepared to show proof of ownership in order to recover the pet.

(Note: This pet is not at Little Creek Veterinary Clinic at this time.)

UPDATE: This pet has been reunited with its family!

This intact male dog (pictured above) was found wandering in Norfolk on August 25th. He has no evident ID or microchip.

The finder would like to locate his family ASAP. The pet’s owner should be prepared to provide proof of ownership in order to reclaim the dog.

The Corgi-type dog pictured below was found wandering on Caribou Avenue in Norfolk this morning.

Attempts to locate the owner have been unsuccessful so far, as the dog’s microchip does not appear to be registered in a database.

     On Halloween, I blogged about a white and brown Dalmatian that had disappeared from its owner’s yard in Portsmouth.  News of the missing dog even made it into the local newspaper. 

     Today, the Virginian-Pilot reported that “Callie” has been found and returned to her owners.  Now that’s a good way to start off the week!

     This little guy was found wandering East Beach, the morning of Monday, August 29th.  Could he be an escapee from Hurricane Irene?  

     He is a male (not neutered), and estimated to be 8-10 years old.  This dog was found with a collar, but no tags.  He is friendly, comfortable with other dogs and cats. He likes to go on walks and to be where people are.

     Please provide proof of ownership in order to claim this dog.

     A grey and white male Pitbull was found wandering Dominion Avenue in Norfolk today (Thursday, June 16th) around 2 PM.

The dog was found without a collar, appears to be good-natured and in good health, and weighs 57#.

The owner must present proof of ownership to reclaim the dog.  (Note:  This dog is not at our clinic at this time.)
