Now, about those bearcats — what are they, exactly?
A bearcat, also known as a binturong, is an Asian mammal that is neither a bear nor a cat. It hangs out in the trees in places like China, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. For more information — and to find out if a binturong would dine on you, given the chance — visit the Virginia Zoo and get to know the bearcats living in downtown Norfolk.
